The key points first
This website uses no tracking or analytics tools and loads no third-party content. Fonts, images and 3D graphics are delivered exclusively from our own server. We set no advertising or analytics cookies; the few entries we store in your browser are listed in the section “Cookies and local storage”.
Cookies and local storage
On your first visit, a notice asks which storage you allow. Technically necessary entries are required to operate the website and do not need consent (Section 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a functioning bilingual website). Preference entries are only set with your consent (Section 165(3) TKG 2021; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). All entries remain in your browser; they are not analysed and not passed on to third parties.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| krm-consent | Local storage | Stores your choice in the cookie notice so it does not appear on every page | 12 months, then we ask again | Necessary |
| krm-lang | Session storage | Remembers the language chosen via DE/EN during your visit | until the browser tab is closed | Necessary |
| krm-intro | Session storage | Remembers that the home page logo animation has already been shown so it does not appear on every visit | until the browser tab is closed | Necessary |
| krm-lang | Cookie and local storage | Remembers the chosen language for future visits | 12 months | Preferences (consent only) |
To show you the right language, the website reads the language set on your device when you open it. This happens only in your browser; the information is neither stored nor transmitted to us.
Your consent is voluntary. You can change or withdraw it at any time with effect for the future – via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page or here:
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser; the website still works, but will not remember your choice.
Server logs
When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are stored only as long as necessary for security and error analysis.
Contact form and “Sell material”
If you write to us via a form, we process your details (name, email, phone, company, material details, message) and any uploaded photos or documents in order to handle your enquiry and prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual measures, and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is sent to us by email. We store it as long as necessary for processing and a possible business relationship, and beyond that only within statutory retention obligations. To prevent misuse, a non-reversible hash of your IP address is stored for ten minutes.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to office@krm-recycling.com.
Email, phone and job applications
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to deal with your request. Applications sent to bewerbung@krm-recycling.com are used exclusively for the application process and deleted once it is completed, unless you consent to longer retention.
Links to other websites
Links to Google Maps, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook are simple links. Data is only transferred to the respective provider once you click a link. The provider is responsible for its own data processing.
Recipients
Your data is received only by our hosting provider and our email provider, as far as necessary for operation, in each case on the basis of a data processing agreement. This website does not transfer data to countries outside the EU.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, contact office@krm-recycling.com. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at.
